SCUMBAG RAT SEX OFFENDER Keith Dewayne Crum

BURIEN, Wash. -- A sex offender was arrested for allegedly stalking a 17-year-old female student near Evergreen Campus.
Keith Dewayne Crum, 39, a level three sex offender, was arrested last week after a high school junior reported three encounters with the man.
The victim told King County Sheriff’s deputies Crum was in a white car on March 5th when he tried to talk to her while she was walking home from school. Then on March 11th the female student was walking near campus, and Crum, in the same vehicle, tried to talk with her twice, asking for her phone number. She ran for help, and told school officials what happened.
"She did the right thing by getting to school right away, telling an adult, calling 911, and being really observant and being able to give a description of the man, the car, and a partial license plate," said Catherine Carbone Rogers, spokesperson for Highline Public Schools.
Sheriffs deputies found Crum in a white four-door Nissan Maxima nearby. He matched the description and was arrested for stalking.
Court records show Crum is a level 3 sex offender, which means he is deemed likely to reoffend.
In 1998, when Crum was 25-years-old he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old female that he knew, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office Offender Watch site. In 2002, when Crum was 29-years-old, he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old female that he was acquainted with, according to court records. In 2005, Crum was released from prison and is now living in the city of Burien at 15500 block of 6th Avenue SW.
He was arrested for stalking. He has been released from jail pending trial.
Bail was set at $25,000, and Crum bonded out over the weekend, according to court documents.
